Back to School Teacher Gift: DIY Crayon Candle

Hey y'all! I'm so excited to be sharing this DIY today. In fact, it might be my favorite DIY so far. It's getting to be school time around our home, which means my husband is beginning to write lesson plans and label school supplies. I know for most mamas, its a bittersweet time.  You're excited for your babies to learn, and honestly maybe a bit of "me" time. But you know you'll miss late morning snuggles and jetting off to the pool every day.  With school approaching quickly, I was thinking about little gifts I'd love to give the teachers on their first day back. So the crayon candle was born! While I know most teachers have ... READ MORE >>

The Best Potty Training Tip Ever

A few months ago I shared with all of you my struggles in potty training. Potty training my FOUR YEAR old that is. Mama's let me remind you... I have 3 kids and I HAVE done this potty training thing a time or 2 before. But this little one, she was designed to push me to my limits. She is a game changer in our home in every sense of the word. This girl marches to the beat of her own drum. Sometimes her marching is amazing and other times, I think I may actually pull all of my hair out! This is basically how potty training went for us, it may have nearly been the death of me. But, today I want to share with you the best potty training tip ... READ MORE >>

My Strong Willed Child Brought Me Closer to Jesus

My Strong Willed Child Brought Me Closer to Jesus

Hi guys! It’s Jessica, from Thoughtfully Styled and I’m sharing something I’ve not shared before and my hope is that other moms in the same situation will find hope and most importantly know you are not alone. I want to share how my strong willed child brought me closer to Jesus.  I’m a proud mom of twin five year olds. I have a boy and a girl that are more opposite that any two siblings I think I’ve ever seen. I love their different personalities but because they are so different my parenting style must be different with each. Quite honestly, my daughter is tough. She is extremely strong willed and until recently I would find myself ... READ MORE >>

When Motherhood Is Making You Crazy

July 13, 2016 By Michelle Leave a Comment

When Motherhood Is Making You Crazy

Each night as your head hits your pillow you go over your day in your head. The tantrums, the bills, the messes, the laundry, the activities, the complete CHAOS that has taken over your life.  And it seems that no sooner than you close your eyes, you are woken by either your alarm or the more likely scenario...your children. So you drag yourself to your bathroom to brush your teeth, maybe wash off your face and attempt to add another layer of dry shampoo to your frazzled mane. And as you squirt the face wash into the palm of your hand, you think to yourself how minty it smells today. And then as you start to rub it into your ... READ MORE >>

Instagram post 17850899390014309 Disney is challenging us to share our first pictures with characters! I had to join in the fun and it was the best trip down memory lane. Disney has been threaded throughout my entire life. I pulled a few of my most favorite memories over the years. From partying in the streets during the most epic dance party and meeting our most favorite princesses to me being a kid at Disney myself. Oh, I also had to add a picture of Cinderella’s Castle. She really is the most beautiful cast member of them all!
@waltdisneyworld we miss you more and more each day. You’ve brought us joy beyond words and we cannot wait for the day when we get to walk down Main Street USA again!
Ok, now it’s your turn. Find your old photos of your favorite Disney characters and share the magic. Also, don’t forget to tag me. I want to see all your memories too!
