There is nothing our family loves more than summer! We finally get the chance to slow down, relax and just enjoy being with those we love. Of course living here in Texas the summers start early and end late but, we love it that way. One of our favorite activities as a family is to plan a fun backyard party with friends and hangout for the day. What is better than a good old fashioned grill out?
This past weekend we had the best time creating our own Build Your Own Hot Dog Bar Grill Out Party with some of our closest friends and it was a blast! The kids swam until they couldn’t swim anymore and ate all the Ballpark Hot Dogs they could fit into their little bellies. If this summer kick off party was any indication on how our summer will go, we are in for a good one!
I love to celebrate even the small moments in life and summer is definitely one of them! We packed our Hot Dog Bar with Ball Park Beef Franks and Ball Park Tailgaters Brat Buns from Sams Club. We fed a large group so buying these items in bulk was perfect!
Here is everything else you need to plan the perfect Build Your Own Hot Dog Bar Grill Out!
Toppings and Side:
Ketchup
Mustard
Mayo
Cheese
Relish
Pickles
Chili
Onions
Corn Chips
Potato Chips
Make your Hot Dog Bar even more fun by adding cute decorations. It is always easy to use white dishware and add in cute napkins, plates and cups. I always love to use cute and creative serving platters as well, cake stands are not only for cakes! Think outside of the box and turn even a backyard grill out into a cute afternoon party.
The kids LOVED coming up with their own creations for their hot dogs! Some choices definitely may have been better than others. We of course had some classics but I think the favorite was a chili cheese frito pie hot dog.
We cannot wait to spend more days in the water, filling ourselves with good food and hanging out with the best of friends! These kiddos had a blast!
Here is to a wonderful summer and lots of yummy hot dogs!
