He or She, what will this baby be?

He or She, what will this baby be?

Calm down, calm down neither Michelle nor I are pregnant.There are zero bambinos in our bellies. But, we do love babies and get super excited when people we know are having babies. So, when we found out that one of our most favorite real life/blogger friends Sarah had procreated we could not wait to find out if she was having a boy or a girl. And just in case you were wondering, Sarah blogs over at Pretty Providence and is pretty awesome. She has also been one of our biggest supporters and we cannot thank her enough for believing in MWOA the way she has. (cue the ahhhhh for our sappy shout out) So what did we do to figure out ... Summer Checklist

Summer Checklist

It's almost here Moms....Summer! (cue this picture because it is STILL all that consumes our home) Only a few more days to go and the moment we have been counting down to for months will be here. But, to be honest, I am a little nervous about this transition. This will be our first summer where all 3 of our kids are out of the baby phase and ready to take fun on with full force. And since my kids are 8,3, and 2 finding fun and activities to keep them all happy will be a tricky one. So, this summer in order to keep some order around here we are going to make some list. With our little ones being so young, I am going to sit down with ... READ MORE >>

Bridging The Gap

Bridging The Gap

It's one of the questions parents find themselves asking often.... "When are we ready for another baby". In my situation, I came into my marriage with a child. Madisyn was five when Will and I got married and it was a hot minute after saying I do (aka a month and a half later) that I became pregnant with Megan. The second we told Madisyn we were going to have a baby, I wondered what her relationship with her new sibling would look like. Would they be best friends? Was a 6 year age gap going to be too much? The answer is Yes. To both questions. Yes my girls are best friends, but we are breaking into new territory where the 6 ... READ MORE >>

Hey Mom, Pinterest Ain’t Real Life!

Hey Mom, Pinterest Ain’t Real Life!

Moms we are living in a Pinterest world! Of course I am sure you already know this. Since Pinterest stepped into the picture the expectations of moms and people everywhere have drastically increased. According to the inter-webs the only way to "keep up with Mrs. Jones" these days is to have a perfectly decorated home, we must know every trick to having a well behaved child, be a fabulous chef, AND be able to DIY anything our little hearts desire. If you ask me, it's exhausting just thinking about it. But, no matter what the expectations are that I put on myself after perusing Pinterest for hours on in I keep coming back for ... READ MORE >>

65 Red Roses:: Cystic Fibrosis

65 Red Roses:: Cystic Fibrosis

These boys. These 2 beautiful boys are 2 of the most outgoing, loving, rambunctious, fun, sweet, smart, athletic, special boys you will ever meet. These 2 boys are sons, brothers, grandsons, nephews, cousins and friends. Caden and Evan are the precious sons of my cousin Nathan and his wife Melody and they bring so much joy to our family. And, they have Cystic Fibrosis or 65 Red Roses as so many children with CF call it. Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is a life-threatening genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. Around 30,000 individuals in the United States and 70,000 world wide have Cystic Fibrosis. With CF cells are ... READ MORE >>

Instagram post 17850899390014309 Disney is challenging us to share our first pictures with characters! I had to join in the fun and it was the best trip down memory lane. Disney has been threaded throughout my entire life. I pulled a few of my most favorite memories over the years. From partying in the streets during the most epic dance party and meeting our most favorite princesses to me being a kid at Disney myself. Oh, I also had to add a picture of Cinderella’s Castle. She really is the most beautiful cast member of them all!
