Why You Should Cry In Front of Your Children

Why You Should Cry In Front of Your Children

I never thought I could handle puke. I remember being fearful of the day my motherhood journey brought me to the point of dealing with a puking child. That day came last week when I found myself in this position for the first time. I guess I can call it a blessing that I made it almost three years into this motherhood gig before having to deal with puke. But as I sat there with a towel on my chest, holding my sick 12 month old baby girl, I realized I was much stronger than I thought. We moms are strong. We take care of sick kids, we kiss boo-boos, and we fix what’s broken. No matter how weak we once thought we would be when presented ... READ MORE >>

Double Trouble

Double Trouble

When it comes to twins, the phrase "double trouble" is heard pretty much any time you are out in public. And, if we are being totally honest, it's quite a fitting term for most twins. In fact sometimes it does't even do my dynamic duo justice.  Being a twin mom is a total honor, but somedays it comes with it's own unique set of challenges. I have shared before about the crazy questions we get when we are out in public but there is so much more that goes into be a mom of multiples.  Here are five of the dilemmas I run into being a twin mom.  1.) 4 Ways to Warm Up A White Kitchen

I have a confession to make:   I love an all white kitchen. White granite, white cabinets, white subway tile; it all makes me feel like that emoji with the big heart eyes. Pair all of that sparkling white with stainless steel appliances and you've just whipped up my dream kitchen scenario (and, yes, I have a toddler!).   Sadly, many people find an all white kitchen to be sterile or devoid of character but I am here to show you the light (the bright, white light). If you find yourself in a home with an all white kitchen or are feeling like your stainless appliances are feeling a bit 'hospital chic', there are many ... READ MORE >>

How to Wear Denim on Denim

How to Wear Denim on Denim

Happy Monday!!  I hope you had a great weekend! Today lets talk about three tips on how to wear denim on denim. Denim on denim can be worn many ways, either by mixing different colors together or keeping it all one color. But how do we wear the look without looking like Brittany Spears and Justin Timberlake back in the day? (yes I SOO went there!) Stick with different washes. If your mixing different colors this is easy to pull off, but if your going with both a blue denim top and bottom, stick with different washes. You don't want to be too matchy matchy. It's nearly impossible to miss mixing different color denim ... READ MORE >>

Chips and Salsa Teacher Appreciation Gift

Thank you to Tiny Prints for our super cute Thank you cards. As always, all opinions are 100% our own. Moms, can you believe we have almost made it through another school year? Where has the time gone? With May just around the corner we have class parties, field days and teacher appreciation week coming up. Did you realize teacher appreciation week is May 2-6. That's like in 5 minute (or so it feels like 5 minutes). I always like to come up with something creative and fun for our teachers. They work so hard all year to make the school year extra special so why not come up with a special and different gift for them? This year the ... READ MORE >>

Instagram post 17850899390014309 Disney is challenging us to share our first pictures with characters! I had to join in the fun and it was the best trip down memory lane. Disney has been threaded throughout my entire life. I pulled a few of my most favorite memories over the years. From partying in the streets during the most epic dance party and meeting our most favorite princesses to me being a kid at Disney myself. Oh, I also had to add a picture of Cinderella’s Castle. She really is the most beautiful cast member of them all!
@waltdisneyworld we miss you more and more each day. You’ve brought us joy beyond words and we cannot wait for the day when we get to walk down Main Street USA again!
Ok, now it’s your turn. Find your old photos of your favorite Disney characters and share the magic. Also, don’t forget to tag me. I want to see all your memories too!
