These cookies are the perfect blend of butter, vanilla, sugars and more. They stay chewy for days and are perfectly chewy with a slight crisp. They are so good that they disappear faster than you can make them!
I will make you wait no longer for my secret tips and tricks, here is how you can make your own!
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup softened unsalted butter
3/4 cups granulated sugar
3/4 cups packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375. In a mixing bowl beat softened butter, sugars, and vanilla until creamy using the paddle on your mixer. Add eggs one at a time until each is mixed in and set aside. In a separate bowl mix all dry ingredients. Once you have each mixture it is time to combine them. Slowly add your dry mixture to the wet and make sure it is combined well. Stir in chocolate chips.
Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll dough into 2 in balls and place onto cookie sheet. Bake for 9 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
Here is the SECRET- DO NOT refrigerate this dough. So many recipes call for you to chill the dough. DO NOT do it! When you refrigerate the dough some of the flavors of the ingredients are lost. Do yourself a favor and bake it all right away. You will thank me for it later!
