I cannot believe the school year is already here. Didn’t summer just start like 5 minutes ago?
Mom Confession: I have not started school shopping yet. As in I have not purchased one single thing. Not one. single. thing.
Because of my lack of winning in the mom department let me take a moment to send a formal apology to all of my kids teachers for the lack of preparation. I will do my best to have them there on time…at least for the first month week.
Teachers are the best aren’t they? I mean seriously, they put up with moms like and me and definitely do not get thanked enough for all that I do.
Last year I started a fun little tradition of randomly buying our teachers lunches throughout the year. I know that there are special days like Back to school, Teacher Appreciation Day, holidays and the end of the year when we give to our teachers but I wanted to do something just because.
So, we came up with this Teacher Gift: Lunch Certificate and it has been a hit!
Ok so here is how it works!
My girls and I created this fun little certificate for their teachers. There is a space to enter what day you would like to bring lunch. On this one we put Wednesday but you can put any day that works for you.
Next under Whatcha Cravin we write 3 restaurant choices. If I give the restaurant choices it still allows them to choose but I can also write in places that are in the price point that works for me.
Lastly is the order slot. This space is for the teacher to write in her order.
I usually send the certificate a few days in advance to give them a little time to fill it out and get it back to me before the big day.
Out of all of the creative and “Pinteresty” gifts I have created for our teachers this has always been a fave.
I mean what teacher doesn’t love getting to eat something other than cafeteria food or left overs?
And guess what? I have created a printable to make this gift giving even easier for you!
Just print out this Teacher Gift: Lunch Certificate, put 2 hole punches at the top, tie a ribbon and you are good to go!
