How to Host the Perfect Easter Egg Hunt

March 22, 2016 By Jessica 9 Comments

EasterParty1

Happy Tuesday, y’all! We are beyond thrilled to be contributors for MWOA! We will visit y’all here about once a month and talk all things entertaining! We blog at Thoughtfully Styled and hope you’ll catch up with us there as well!

Now, for what we love best! Parties!

EasterParty2

Recently, we had an Easter egg hunt for some of our favorite blogging friends and their kiddos. As with any party, the food and decor were our primary concern. Since this party was mostly for children, we had a great deal of kid friendly foods and drinks. We also made sure the decor was bright and colorful!

We served our little guests: mini blueberry muffins, lemon cookies, powdered donuts, deviled eggs, trail mix, rice crispy treats, fruit skewers, lemon cookies and lots of different candies.

All of the metal decor we used for the Egg Hunt is from The Round Top Collection. Their holiday decor is so fun to use for parties. We love the versatility of the pieces. Most of the items can be hung from the back or posted on a pole that can be used a multiple heights.

Everyone was ready to eat after the big hunt.

As far as beverages go, we served:

Raspberry-Pineapple Punch (the recipe will be on our blog this week), lemon water, mimosas and juices for the kids.

We had some cute egg hunters!

How adorable is this metal basket from The Round Top Collection? It can be used in so many ways but we love the chocolate bunny!

If we look tired here, it’s because we were! While hosting a party for preschoolers is fun, it’s also exhausting!

EasterParty37EasterParty38

We had so much fun planning and executing this Easter egg hunt. Everyone had such a good time and that’s always the goal!

If you are in the Houston area make sure to head into The Round Top Collection this week! All of their Easter decor is 50% off through the weekend. If you are hosting a party, brunch, or just want to decorate the yard, you will find tons of great ideas.

The Round Top Collection is located at Market Street in The Woodlands and LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch.

Have a wonderful day, y’all! Thanks so much for taking the time to read our post today. We really look forward to contributing more for MWOA and feel so blessed to be a part of this community.

Thank you to The Round Top Collection for partnering on this post.
