What Moms Really Want Their Word of the Year to Be

What Moms Really Want Their Word of the Year to Be

Happy New Year! Too late for that already? Technically we haven't reached the one week mark so I think I'm still good. Don't you just love the new year and all it brings? All the new year resolutions and changes? People are working on getting healthy and getting happy. I love it! Keep up the work my good people, make it last for more than a hot minute. This year like so many I have decided to steer clear of the New Year's Resolution and focus on a Word for the year. I love this new phenomenon and what it stands for. It's great! Instead of focusing on changing a behavior you focus on one word and use it to help focus your entire year. ... READ MORE >>

Things You Say While Potty Training

Things You Say While Potty Training

12 years ago I was a naive mom who thought that potty training was a breeze. My daughter had figured out the whole pee pee on the potty in a matter of two days and I never looked back. I was the potty training master. I would give advice like it was my J-O-B. Potty training was so easy, what was everyone fussing over? Funny thing about parenting. Just when you think you are doing it right, BAM!! The kids throw a curveball to bring you right back to reality.  My middle daughter was a nightmare to potty train. I thought to myself, she is the hardest kid to potty train in the history of the world. No kid will ever be as difficult as ... READ MORE >>

Things You Should Do For You in 2017

Happy New Year! I'm going to be the first to admit that I am not a the biggest fan of  the New Years resolution. I am a fan of a Word of the Year  which tends to be a little more forgiving. As we step back and reflect on the year that was and the year that is to come, I am in awe of the daily duties that we as moms tackle. My daughter calls me Super Mom, and sometimes, I have to agree with her. We're so overwhelmed with everyone's schedules and activities that we forget what is important, ourselves. So sure, we want to tackle weight loss or read more books or whatever your goals and resolutions may be. But for a moment, could we put ... READ MORE >>

5 Tips to Grow Your Pinterest Account In the New Year

Here we are, closing up another year! I say this all the time but I cannot believe how quickly time just passes by. I feel like I was just sitting here yesterday writing out my goals for 2016 and trying to figure out how I would reach them! I tell you what though, I am all about a new beginning and a reset button. Isn't it awesome that every year we can step back, reevaluate and devise a new plan? I love it! One of our goals every year on MWOA is to increase our community and increase our number of followers on all of our platforms. We want to be a place for every mom where she can step away, get a quick break and feel like she is apart ... READ MORE >>

2016 Reflections & How To Make Attainable Resolutions

2016 Reflections & How To Make Attainable Resolutions

There are only a few days left in the year, and quite honestly I am not really sad to see 2016 go.  In the words of one of my best friend's Dad..."It's been REAL. It's been NICE. But it hasn't been REAL NICE".  And really that is putting it nicely, 2016 has been a major crap fest.  Lots of struggles and heartaches and just crappy crappy things. It's been a rough year for lots of people. It hasn't been without some high points though. Lots of good things happened in 2016 too that helped make it a bit more bearable.  And it will be those happy memories that I take with me into 2017 and try to live ... READ MORE >>

The kit comes with 2 pre-packed quarts of ice cream, 3 toppings, an entire can of whipped cream and cherries! Ice
cream for dinner will now be a weekly staple. The kids are definitely not complaining! It’s a fun day with a Sundae!

Instagram post 17850899390014309 Disney is challenging us to share our first pictures with characters! I had to join in the fun and it was the best trip down memory lane. Disney has been threaded throughout my entire life. I pulled a few of my most favorite memories over the years. From partying in the streets during the most epic dance party and meeting our most favorite princesses to me being a kid at Disney myself. Oh, I also had to add a picture of Cinderella’s Castle. She really is the most beautiful cast member of them all!
