What’s the Difference in a Desire and an Expectation?

I walk up to the door to pick up my youngest, Elle, and I am met with the eyes. The eyes that tell me it has been another “bad” day. The eyes that warn me before I even make it all the way to the door to get myself ready for the conversation ahead. It’s the eyes from her sweet teachers telling me that she’s had more accidents. I can see and feel the frustrations from them that the potty training is still not sticking. Elle is almost 4 and yep, she still refuses to use the potty. We have good days but overall, she’s just not a huge fan. Our Elle has a mind of her own. We have tried everything. Sticker charts, training pants, potty ... READ MORE >>

Getting 4 tiny humans ready, plus myself (and let's be honest the husband usually needs something too) is exhausting. A few weeks ago I shared my Quick & Easy Breakfast Bowl, and while it is all those things...including delicious, sometimes quick isn't fast enough. Sometimes mama needs already made.  Without going the prepackaged route (although there is no shame in the Pop Tart game, trust me) I discovered these yogurt breakfast bites that I can make the night before and are perfect to grab the next morning when we are heading out the ... The Secret To Adult Friendships

The Secret To Adult Friendships

I am just gonna go ahead and put this out there, I am super weird about friendships. I don't think I was always like that, but over the years and after some hurts I have approached friendships very differently than I did when I was a teenager. It's taken several years, but I think I have found the secret to adult friendships.  Friendships are a little easier to maintain in your younger years. You are grouped together by classes and extra curricular activities and it makes it easier to find people with similar interests and hobbies. You would spend all day at school together and then you would go hang out after school to do homework. ... READ MORE >>

Instagram post 17850899390014309 Disney is challenging us to share our first pictures with characters! I had to join in the fun and it was the best trip down memory lane. Disney has been threaded throughout my entire life. I pulled a few of my most favorite memories over the years. From partying in the streets during the most epic dance party and meeting our most favorite princesses to me being a kid at Disney myself. Oh, I also had to add a picture of Cinderella’s Castle. She really is the most beautiful cast member of them all!
@waltdisneyworld we miss you more and more each day. You’ve brought us joy beyond words and we cannot wait for the day when we get to walk down Main Street USA again!
Ok, now it’s your turn. Find your old photos of your favorite Disney characters and share the magic. Also, don’t forget to tag me. I want to see all your memories too!
