Team Snack Ideas for Kids with Post Cereals

June 2, 2019 By Channing Leave a Comment

This post has been sponsored by Post Consumer Brands®. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

In case you are new around here, we are a soccer-loving family! Most of our weekends are spent on the sidelines enjoying ourselves while our girls rock it on the field. There is nothing better than watching my kiddos do what they love. One thing is for sure though—when those girls walk off the field, they are “starving” and ready to eat. I always try to have yummy snacks on hand to keep them going between games.

I recently tried to get creative when packing and getting ready for the weekend, and the treats I came up with were a huge hit! I used Fruity PEBBLES™ and Cocoa PEBBLES™ that I picked up from Randalls to make these snacks.

What sounds better than Fruity PEBBLES™ Frozen Bananas with White Chocolate and Cocoa PEBBLES™ No-Bake Cookies after a hard fought game? The girls loved these snacks even more when they were “starving” after a tough game of soccer!

How to Make Fruity PEBBLES™ Frozen Bananas with White Chocolate:

This recipe was so easy to make and only required a few ingredients.

  • Fruity PEBBLES™
  • Frozen Bananas
  • White Chocolate Melts
  • Popsicle Sticks

Simply cut your bananas in half, put a popsicle stick into the cut end, and freeze the bananas. Once frozen, dip bananas into the melted chocolate, and then roll them in the Fruity PEBBLES™. Freeze again, package, and enjoy them at the game.

This treat was such a hit, only half of them actually made it to the game!

How to Make Cocoa PEBBLES™ No Bake Cookies:

These cookies were so yummy, the girls are already asking for more. This recipe also has just a few ingredients and was super easy to make.

  • Cocoa PEBBLES™
  • Creamy Peanut Butter
  • Shredded Coconut
  • Honey

Combine all ingredients into a large mixing bowl, then put in the refrigerator to firm up. Once firm, divide out into 1 inch balls and freeze. Package and enjoy!

With the help of the Randalls Mobile App I was able to grab what I needed for both of these recipes and used the coupons they provided right on the app. And right now, if you buy 3 Post® cereal brands you will get entered to win $50 or $100 Adidas e-Gift card *COUPON*!

And for all of  you other soccer lovers, did you know that Post is the Official Cereal of Major League Soccer? How fun is that! Of course with Post loving soccer as much as we do, these cereals are always on the list of must haves for my girls.

Both of these recipes are absolutely delicious and super easy to make! When we are driving from game to game all over the city for the weekend, it is so important that we are stocked up and prepared. My number one tip for any sports mom is to be prepared. Having these recipes and treats on hand definitely make for a delicious and super easy weekend!

The kit comes with 2 pre-packed quarts of ice cream, 3 toppings, an entire can of whipped cream and cherries! Ice
cream for dinner will now be a weekly staple. The kids are definitely not complaining! It’s a fun day with a Sundae!

Disney has been threaded throughout my entire life. I pulled a few of my most favorite memories over the years. From partying in the streets during the most epic dance party and meeting our most favorite princesses to me being a kid at Disney myself. Oh, I also had to add a picture of Cinderella’s Castle. She really is the most beautiful cast member of them all!
